'Spiritography' is photographing the essence of pets and their people and is a love of mine. My 'Signature Style' is close range, 'spirit' portraits. I enjoy capturing images that astound people and remind them of the beauty of their own unique lives. Sometimes, spirits actualy show up in a client's photos too!
Your support of my vision flows directly into the day to day management of The Starkitty Project. It helps to defray the enormous financial strain of managing the injuries and psychological wounds of many neighborhood felines that have been abandoned by humans. It is never-ending work!

Babies and young children, much like pets are unpredictable in their behavior. An allotted time of up to three hours is set on your appointment day, though your session may be as quick as one hour. Most people think they are lousy photo subjects. But the truth of the matter is that a good photographer can capture the best angle of their subject, in the best light and with minimal background / effort, if they've simply got a great eye. Shot against an outdoor park lavatory wall, this subject wanted a 'more approachable' look than the standard conservative corporate image he'd been using. Dogs can be extremely excitable and may need time to calm down. Each home situation is unique. A great shot doesn't always come from a fancy environment surrounding your pet.
